Wow wow whoa everybody!

It has been far too long. It seems like just yesterday I was wrapping up the Upromise contest for $10,000 toward my student loans. Somehow, it looks like I never sent out the news to all of you that I won! So, if you didn't get a personal thank you then, THANK YOU! Days after my big win in May, I moved back down South to Nashville and have been absolutely loving my experience here. Friendly atmosphere, warm weather, music everywhere, and limitless opportunity. Perfect.

On Saturday, April 10th I'm returning to Georgia for a special acoustic show at my favorite venue, 106 West! I'll be playing side by side with my good friend and cowriter, Mike Willis. Mike is another Atlanta to Boston to Nashville songwriter, and is definitely someone to keep an eye on. Recent recognitions include the Leon Brettler ASCAP award for being an outstanding songwriter-performer, as well as winning the country category of the International Songwriters Competition.

Last but not least, I want to extend a HUGE congratulations to our drummer, Joe Bleakley. Joe is currently on tour as part of the road crew for none other than Taylor Swift! When he's not on the road with her, he's hanging out here in Nashville keeping me company. I couldn't be more proud of his tremendous accomplishments.
